Carmarthen Symphonic wind Band would like to invite you to our ‘Christmas Cracker’ Concert. A selection of popular and festive music, with carol singing and featuring the talents of some of our youth members in the form of ‘1st Inversion‘.

The Band will be dressing up in, and playing music of, a nautical theme to entertain the crowds all day outside St. Mary’s Church Tenby. See you there. (if you want to join in and dress up, you will be most welcome aboard our crew)

If you would like to join us pop along to rehearsals on Sunday (term time) evenings at Trinity, St Davids University in Carmarthen from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Woodwind, Brass and Percussion. Our members come from all over West Wales – including Fishguard, Haverfordwest, Aberaeron and Swansea.

Our next rehearsal is this Sunday (24th April).
All set up in the pit ready for ‘show time‘ at The Lyric Theatre, Carmarthen where we are supporting other organisations from Carmarthen to raise money for Canolfen Elfed, Queen Elizabeth High School.

The band will be performing in the park from 10am before leading the St David’s Day Parade into the town.

Rehearsals are going well to kick start our 20th Anniversary.

If you want to join in the fun we rehearse on a Sunday evening at Trinity Saint David’s University in Carmarthen. 6.30-8.30pm. New members welcome. We have spare instruments for loan – Euphonium, Tuba, Baritone Saxophone as well as a host of percussion instruments.
